How many jobs in Oklahoma are there in the administrative assistant jobs?
The Oklahoma Bureau of Labor and Industries posted the job application for the administrative assistants in Oklahoma, the only job in the state that requires experience in an office or a specific field of study.
Oklahoma officials say they are only recruiting administrative assistants for the executive office of the governor, the agency that oversees the executive branch.
The agency says it will not require applicants to be licensed or state-certified in the field of their expertise.
The BOLI said in a press release that it is not offering positions for positions that are temporary, but rather those for positions with annual salary range between $60,000 and $90,000.
The bureau did not specify how many jobs are available.
It was not immediately clear whether the agency would be hiring additional staff to meet the demand for administrative assistants.
The Oklahoma Legislature is in the midst of a special session that will be convened by the end of the month.
