Job search sites have gone dark for a third day as search engine problems threaten jobs for thousands
Thousands of job seekers who used job search services were unable to use them as they experienced issues with search engine optimization, and the job search site Job Search had to shut down for three days, a spokesman for the company said.
Job Search is a service for job seekers looking for jobs through job search websites such as Monster, Glassdoor, Monster.com, CareerBuilder and Glassdoor.com.
It’s the only major job search website that offers online job search.
The company said that as of Wednesday, more than 20,000 job seekers had registered on the service.
The company said it’s working with search engines to resolve the problems.
The Associated Press first reported on the problems at the company in September.
